First of all. we would like to stress that ALL PEOPLE are welcome to participate in our church services each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. members and visitors alike – everyone is welcome. Visitors, we are not a huge church, so parking is ample and space will be available for you to join us in our worship.
You will participate in a service that lasts approximately 60 minutes in a warm and inviting church facility. Our service is filled with spirituality, reverance, fellowship, song and caring. Each Sunday, Pastor Richard or Pastor Tony blesses us with an enlightened, thoughtful and thought provoking sermon during the service. Hymns are sung throughout the service. After the service, everyone is invited to join us for a brief period of refreshments and fellowship in our downstairs fellowship hall. It is a chance to get to know each other and develop a good Christian bond and friendship.
Throughout the year we have numerous special Sundays, for example; Easter Sunday Service, Candle Light Service at Christmas, and throughout the year Old Hymn Sing-alongs.
“Communion, or The Eucharist at Columbia Lakewood Church”
Christians throughout the world, gather at the Lord’s table to renew their covenant with God, by eating the bread and drinking the wine of communion or The Holy Eucharist.
We, the Congregation of Columbia Lakewood Church, share monthly in this ancient and mystical Christian rite of worship. In our tradition, we offer “open” communion which means any and all who attend our service are welcome to come forward and partake of the Lord’s table. All we ask, is that those who do choose to participate, have a belief and faith in Jesus, or are actively seeking to find their faith in Jesus.
We serve communion on the first Sunday of each month. We relish sharing the Lord’s supper with the gathered community each and every, first Sunday of the month
Come one, come all, come to the Lord’s table at Columbia Lakewood Church. All God’s children are welcome.
